Cait.Jewell Artist CV
Cait.Jewell (Caitlin Jewell) is a trained artist and lifelong creative professional who holds a BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, with additional study at the Museum School in Boston. After three decades working in marketing, graphic design, and brand storytelling—including co-founding a successful craft brewery—Caitlin has made a full pivot into professional visual art.
Though she has created art privately for over 30 years, 2024 marks the debut of her first public and cohesive body of work: a 24-piece painting collection exploring legacy, memory, and emotional resonance. Her signature technique blends fresco secco underpainting with cold wax, oil, and pigment—an approach that allows for vivid color saturation, layered texture, and immersive, tactile surfaces. Cait.Jewell draws influence from artists such as Helene Steene and Ali Baletic, with a deep interest in texture, emotional abstraction, and color as metaphor. Her current 2025 series, Skyscapes, explores flight, resilience, and survivorship in the pursuit of achieving the brightest, most dynamic color fields possible.
New projects include two public art projects, and she is also developing collaborative ventures in textile and apparel design that extend her visual language into new formats and audiences. By day, Caitlin works in public art as the Marketing Director for One Hat One Hand, one of the most prestigious public art and design-build firms in the country, giving her a front-row seat to the evolving dialogue between art, architecture, and community.
